Monochromatic hues

About a few years ago I heard the term monochromatic fashion for the first time, I was like "chromo-what?" As complex as it sounds it explains the trend perfectly. Monochromatic fashion simply means wearing an outfit that is composed of just one color, it can be different shades and textures as long as it is in the same hue. I then realized I've been doing this for years!
I love the chic, clean look it gives you, the best part is that you can experiment with any palette from pastels to bold colors.
I have a very deep appreciation for body con dresses because of my curvy silhouette, they're definitely a wardrobe staple. There are all tones, textures and lengths in my closet since they're so easy to pair up. So If you're feeling a little unsure about the way a body con dress will fit on your figure I suggest using a seamless compression garment or stockings to smooth out your silhouette.
Well, back to this slinky nude turtleneck dress I'm wearing, I love the length and texture. It gives any look a chic touch, but beware of the super visible sweat marks on this material. I layered the dress with my favorite oversized wool coat. This tan tone is my favorite earthy color. I wear this coat with everything from leggings and sneakers to heels and dresses, it is extremely versatile.I topped it off with the iconic Christian Louboutin pumps, So Kate. These are the epitome of class. Last but not least I accessorized with vintage Gucci shades and the classic Louis Vuitton toiletry pouch.
Monochromatic trends are easy and affordable. This particular one was made from a few of my wardrobe staples combined into an incredibly chic look. Shop the look below.
Hope you enjoyed it! Xoxo
